DALLAS -- Roope Hintz had an NHL-career high four assists, and Logan Stankoven scored twice for the Dallas Stars in a 6-2 win against the Los Angeles Kings at American Airlines Center on Friday.

Logan Stankoven scored two goals, Roope Hintz had a career-high four assists and the Dallas Stars beat the Los Angeles Kings 6-2.

Stankoven’s first goal came just 10 seconds after the Stars ended a four-minute power play that defenseman Brendan Smith drew on a high stick to the face. Stankoven scored on a rebound, notching his first goal in six games. His second extended Dallas’ lead to 5-2 early in the third period, also on a rebound.
