Karen Read pleaded not guilty to murder charges in the death of Boston police officer John O’Keefe and is facing a retrial after a jury was unable to reach a verdict last year.

On Thursday, jurors heard testimony from a doctor with the state’s Chief Medical Examiner’s Office about the injuries to O’Keefe and the conclusions of the autopsy she performed. Testimony resumes when the court is back in session at 9 a.m. This post will be updated as testimony gets underway.

After he finished up at 34 Fairview Road, Brent said he was asked to visit O’Keefe’s home on Meadows Avenue with ex-Trooper Michael Proctor, the lead investigator on the case. Brent testified Proctor asked him to document a vehicle parked in the driveway, a Chevrolet Traverse.
