According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, the Guardians are taking offers on both Cade Smith and Emmanuel Clase.

On the heels of a 10-game losing streak, the Guardians’ 6-1 run into the All-Star break helped reinspire confidence that they could make a push for a playoff spot in the second half, especially when factoring in what lies ahead on their schedule.

Gaddis has been one of the Guardians top-end relievers for the last couple of seasons. Last season, Gaddis pitched to a 1.57 ERA in 74.2 innings pitched. He hasn’t been as sharp this season, pitching to a 3.69 ERA in 39.0 innings of work, but could still be a positive addition for a team in need of high-leverage relief pitching.
