Gov. Greg Abbott signed a bill into law on Thursday morning that will dramatically alter NIL regulations in the Lone Star State, and the Texas A&M Aggies best take notice. According to Nick Schultz of On3,

Gov. Greg Abbott proceeded with a new NIL law, House Bill 126, allowing universities to compensate student-athletes over 17 with NIL contracts once they've enrolled in college. The proposed bill received a two-thirds majority vote in both chambers of the Texas legislature, thus making the law go into effect immediately.
