The passing game was mostly the focus for the Jets offense in the first week of the preseason. That will likely continue, but Hall did not do well in his limited touches. Braelon Allen was the much better running back for the Green and White so it would be reassuring to see Hall rip off a few good plays.

The clock started ticking on the New York Giants ' future the second they selected Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart with the 25th pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. Head coach Brian Daboll has repeatedly said that veteran free agent Russell Wilson will be the team's starter and that Dart would be brought along slowly. They had a plan.
