Two days before New Orleans jail escape, Derrick Groves allegedly made a FaceTime video call to Darriana Burton, a former Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office employee, who's now facing a felony charge of conspiracy to commit simple escape.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Nearly a month after Derrick Groves and Antoine Massey escaped from the Orleans Parish Justice Center, NOPD Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick is making a direct appeal to the fugitives and offering help if they turn themselves in.

NEW ORLEANS — The girlfriend of New Orleans jail escapee Derrick Groves was arrested on Monday, according to the U.S. Marshals. Darriana Burton was wanted on a Louisiana Attorney General's warrant for Conspiracy to Commit Simple Escape Felony. Marshals say she was arrested in New Orleans.
