Star shortstop Elly De La Cruz brought another four months of fluency to his English-only media skills since last season and a billion-dollar bounce to his step as he arrived in Arizona for spring training a few days ago.

Reds manager Terry Francona says he wants Elly De La Cruz to be "the best player in baseball on the best team in baseball."
