The Mariners’ catcher on Monday was named the American League Player of the Week, the second time he’s won the award in June.

Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh was recognized for his historic week and was named the American League Player of The Week on Monday. Raleigh earned the weekly on before the Mariners' game against the Minnesota Twins on Monday.

With Cal Raleigh's 29th home run this season, he passed a Hall of Famer for the most homers by a catcher before the MLB All-Star break.
