Academy Award nominee Jeremy Strong is being eyed to star as Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg in Aaron Sorkin's "The Social Network Part II," a follow-up to his Academy Award-winning and box office hit film "The Social Network" at Sony Pictures.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that "Succession" star Jermey Strong is in talks to take on the role of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network Part II.” The role was originally played by Jesse Eisenberg in Aaron Sorkin’s Oscar-winning film in 2010.

The news that Oscar-winning screenwriter of The Social Network, Aaron Sorkin, is developing a sequel for himself to direct went off like a bombshell in the entertainment world that almost certainly sent hundreds of agents around Hollywood hurdling toward their phones, frantic to get their clients aboard.
