The ongoing lawsuit between NASCAR, Michael Jordan-led 23XI Racing, and Front Row Motorsports took another turn Wednesday as NASCAR countersued the teams. Led by attorney Chris Yates, NASCAR filed a 31-page document alleging the two teams conspired to pressure the organization into signing a new charter agreement.

Michael Jordan's 23XI Racing is involved in a pretty sticky situation at the moment. On Wednesday, NASCAR sued 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports. The teams were referred to as "an illegal cartel" in the lawsuit.

There is a misconception out there that what’s happening here is the litigation will force a renegotiation. ... And I just want to make clear that that’s not going to happen.”
