It's pretty much below the historical sights up on the bluff and is a good entry for walks and bike rides along the river, either direction. There are some opportunities for picnicking as well as water sports.

WEBThe park is a nice greenspace with both sun ad shade to walk, picnic, put your feet in the water, check out the bridge and the occasional train. Good parking, including decent enough for an RV. We felt safe and did not see any homeless folks or untoward activity. It's near the old downtown of Yuma and a quick drive to the Territorial Prison.
